Reminder: we have the Christmas card post office set up in the vestibule of the Church now until January 8th. Save a stamp and drop your parishioner Christmas card in the bins provided. Please check for cards when you come to Mass. Merry Christmas!

NEW BIBLE STUDY: THE EARLY CHURCH


The next Bible Study class will begin on January 17, 2023.  This 10-week class will be offered in-person on Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00 pm, and now also as an at-home online study that may be done over the course of 1 year.  It is an historical look at Church development, growth and trials following the Ascension of Christ and for its first 500 years.

 

45-minute video presentations are a part of each session, and accompany a student workbook guide.  Cost of the workbook is $27


Register anytime by calling Cheryl Penry at 253-531-4355.  Signups will also be taken following some Sunday Masses.  Please register soon so that materials may be ordered. We look forward to this chance to get in touch with the Church's beginnings.  Please join us!

Thanks to the generosity, of many, our partnership with Brian from Grocery Outlet, Visitation School, monetary and food donations FROM GENEROUS PARISHIONERS and to all of the volunteers who joined the dedicated members of the Ministries of the Poor!


70 Baskets were distributed to those who came to us in need. Actual cost per basket $51.76 Total $3.683.40 Cost paid after donations and discounts $2,983.40. Thank You to the 18 volunteers, the Ministries of the Poor Members and ALL who worked to make this another great success!

Last year, Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy conducted an Enrollment Potential Study in collaboration with Meitler, a national Catholic school planning firm. This year, we are extending that work to create a strategic plan for Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy for the next five years. As we did in the previous study, we know and understand the importance of hearing from families who currently have children enrolled at Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy. We are asking you to complete an online survey in order to share your insights and opinions about Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy. This survey is distinct from the survey many of you completed previously. Please complete the survey as soon as possible, but no later than May 14. It should take approximately 8-10 minutes to answer the survey questions. All responses are confidential and very important.
