Season of Service hours

We are approaching our 175th anniversary (May 31, 2025) as an archdiocese and hoping to capture participation in the Season of Service. As you know, the goal is to get local Catholics living out our legacy of faith by serving others. We’re trying to reach 175,000 hours in honor of the 175th Anniversary and as of right now we have around 30,000 hours.

As you know our parish community has been discerning the future of the Holy Rosary church building for some time now. More than two years ago a team went through a discernment process and recommended that the building be relegated to profane but not sordid use. I agreed with the recommendation and asked Archbishop to write the decree.
