From Saint John of the Woods Mission, we express our gratitude to Elvy, Lou Sablan, and the dedicated team for their efforts in taking Baby Jesus to visit families during the Christmas season. Their journey covered multiple counties, including King, Pierce, Kitsap, and Thurston, reaching those who live at a distance from the church or are unable to attend. This tradition, rooted in Pacific Islander culture, has been a meaningful practice for a decade now. The generous donations collected in 2023 for St. John of the Woods Parish amounted to $1,016.96.
