St. Rita Church History Trivia; Fr. Baffaro started many church ministries and programs in his 31 years. Which can you name? Some of them were St. Frances of Rome Sodality, Men's Holy Name Society, Altar Society, CYO, St. Rita Softball Team (championship team over many years) and the annual church picnic held at Wapato Park.
This week's question:There were many games after the church picnic meal, one of which was a baseball game. Which position did Fr. Baffaro play? What was the final game after the ball game? Answer in next week's email Send your St. Rita history questions for future inclusion!

Fr. Hendry brought the 2024-25 Annual Report to church two weeks ago. In that document, it says we only have 23 registered families. That seems a VERY low number, If you are not sure if you are on the list and want to be, call PSJXXIII, 253-472-1360, and make sure you are added. You can also be added to their weekly bulletin email.
Thanks to those of you who have sent me donation checks for our church. With no regular weekend Masses, our contributions are not sufficient to pay our bills each month. Donate to St.Rita with a monthly or occasional contribution. Bring to Saturday prayer services or take/mail directly to PSJXXIII and mark clearly for St. Rita's upkeep.

Parish Family- Facilities Team
We need parishioners to join our facility team. Volunteering as part of the facility team is a beautiful way to serve God and your parish community. By helping care for the church, you contribute to maintaining a sacred space where we gather to worship, pray, and seek comfort. Your efforts, no matter how small, help create a welcoming and peaceful environment for others to encounter God. It's a humble and rewarding form of stewardship that allows you to give back to the church that nourishes your faith, while also strengthening bonds with fellow parishioners as you work together for a common purpose.
