"Farewell to the Past, Embracing the Future: A Year-End Celebration"

Reflecting on a Grateful Year

As we bid farewell to the closing chapter of 2023, it's a moment of reflection, appreciation, and heartfelt acknowledgment for each member of Parish families.

The unwavering spirit and dedication exhibited by each one of you serve as a shining exemplar of the true essence of volunteerism. Your commitment to the well-being and prosperity of our parish is a testament to the strength and unity that defines us as a community.

In the sacred space of the liturgy, you extend your hands not only in prayer but also in active service. Whether as Eucharistic ministers, lectors, singers, ushers, or greeters, money counters, your participation enriches our worship experience. Beyond the walls of the church, your devotion continues as you diligently work to maintain the grounds—cleaning up after Mass, tending to the grass, and sweeping away the fallen leaves.

Even during the stillness of the night, your commitment to the safety and security of our parish property is unwavering. Your vigilance was evident when, in a challenging moment, a driver crashed into the church's wall. Your prompt reporting to the authorities and our pastor showcased not only your dedication but also your sense of responsibility.

Your caring hearts extend to the physical upkeep of our church, from repairing the roof, windows to ensuring every corner is well-lit. Your holidays become opportunities to foster camaraderie and joy through a myriad of activities in the Parish Hall.

Week after week, you contribute to the growth of our parish, extending your small hands to cook for senior lunches and parish breakfasts. Through events like the CCD classes, Halloween party, visits to the homebound, support for the Food Bank, participation in the Giving Tree, decorate the Church, managing the Post Office, and organizing the Christmas Party, you've nurtured a sense of community that is truly heartwarming. Each step you take on this sacred land is seen and counted by God, who promises abundant grace upon you and your families.

May God continue to bless you abundantly, and may the coming year be filled with even more opportunities for us to grow, serve, and share in the boundless love of our faith.

Last year, Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy conducted an Enrollment Potential Study in collaboration with Meitler, a national Catholic school planning firm. This year, we are extending that work to create a strategic plan for Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy for the next five years. As we did in the previous study, we know and understand the importance of hearing from families who currently have children enrolled at Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy. We are asking you to complete an online survey in order to share your insights and opinions about Pope St. John XXIII STEM Academy. This survey is distinct from the survey many of you completed previously. Please complete the survey as soon as possible, but no later than May 14. It should take approximately 8-10 minutes to answer the survey questions. All responses are confidential and very important.
