This morning, Thursday August 20, 2026, our STEM Academy School teachers gathered at PSJXXIII Main Campus for Holy Mass to pray and prepare for a new school year.

Father Tuan, Father Henry, and Father Khoi prayed with our teachers, blessed them, and presented each one with a Holy Cross as a reminder of their sacred mission.

In his homily, Father connected the Gospel with the mission of Catholic school teachers. Their calling is not only to educate the minds of our children, but also to form their hearts, nurture their faith, and lead them closer to Christ.

As St. Paul reminds us:

“For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.”

 — Romans 11:36

May everything our teachers do—their teaching, their service, and their witness—be from Christ, through Christ, and for Christ. May the Holy Cross remind them that Jesus is at the center of their mission and that He walks with them each day.
